About Us
A community built on honesty, support and real connection.
Do Your Talkin exists to create spaces where people can open up, feel seen and take positive steps forward together.
Our story
Do Your Talkin was created around a simple belief: people often open up more naturally when they are walking side by side. Instead of pressure, there is movement. Instead of isolation, there is company. Instead of silence, there is room to speak.
What began as community-led walks has grown into something wider: events, peer support, connection, creative expression, and a stronger local network for people affected by mental health challenges, addiction and life struggles.
Who it is for
There is a strong focus on helping men who often find it difficult to open up, but the wider community around Do Your Talkin is inclusive. Walks and events are open to anyone affected by mental health personally or through supporting someone else, including women and families.
- Men who have been struggling in silence
- People living with low mood, anxiety, grief or addiction
- Families and supporters who need connection too
- Anyone looking for a community built on openness and respect
Our vision
To build a connected, supportive community where nobody feels alone in their struggles and where open conversation becomes normal.
Our mission
Reduce isolation, create safe places to talk, encourage recovery and personal growth, and help people build long-term support around them.
Our approach
Keep things human, grounded and welcoming. Meet people where they are. Walk alongside them. Listen without judgement. Help them move forward.
